Track Name: Bloom
I still haven't found brightness yet
Blinded by the tunnels end
Retraced my steps through fields of love
And telephone wires catching doves

I'm still struggling to be free
In shoes made of concrete
Waiting for roses to start growing from my own idle feet
I'm seeking decorations
Used for distracting
These hesitation marks I earned from failing to take action

So I got high alone…and listened to it follow
I felt my nails tearing my skin and found the inside hollow
I stared into the sink…waiting for a new moon
If I can't grow like this, how can I expect to bloom?

I'm starving for solace while advised prescriptions
I just want a sky that makes things look different
This is my explanation for why I'm so distant
I'm searching for skies that make me feel different
Track Name: Six Seasons
Smoke filled fever dreams of driving misguided
You watched as I lit one to calm the disquiet
I've never asked for crutches but I've dried out all my options
I've dragged my feet across the coals just to feel the progress
I know I've been losing myself to myself in the haze
Of feeling distant from those New Britain days
When the lights went out but still- embers remained

But I can't always rely on escape
Always leaving only turns roads to locked gates
And I can't heal these wounded feet, I'm just a burning leaf
And I know I can't return to my tree, the victim of gravity

[falling fever dreams I'm finally sleeping]
Now I'm waking up staring at an unfamiliar ceiling
I can't always rely on escape
I burned a hole until I fell right into place
